Borealle: The Northern Light Marble

A honed Ming green scallop mosaic that turns marble into a ribbon of atmospheric movement.
Borealle Marble Mosaic by HAUS

Borealle is the sky after stillness. Ming green marble moves through a scalloped cadence, carrying the feeling of northern light into stone.

It is fluid, radiant, and grounded by real marble, made for rooms that want color with atmosphere.

Design Perspective

The scallop pattern gives Borealle motion. The green marble gives that motion depth, making the surface feel alive without becoming restless.

It shares Aurialle’s rhythm, but brings more color, more energy, and more presence.

Best Uses

Use Borealle for bathroom floors, shower walls, backsplashes, powder rooms, feature walls, and spaces that need a green focal surface.

It works especially well in spa-like rooms, expressive powder baths, and interiors with natural wood and soft stone.

Material Character

Ming green marble brings veining, tonal shifts, and mineral movement into each scallop.

The honed finish gives the surface a soft matte presence, letting the color feel atmospheric rather than glossy.

Installation & Care Guidance

Install with thin-set mortar suitable for natural marble mosaics. Dry-lay before setting to balance green tones and scallop alignment.

Seal after installation with a penetrating stone sealer. Clean with pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid acidic or abrasive products.

For wet floors, confirm slip, grout, sealing, and maintenance requirements with your installer before ordering.

Pairing & Styling Notes

Pair Borealle with oak, cream plaster, limestone, unlacquered brass, soft white tile, and pale stone counters.

Let it feel atmospheric. The room should support the green, not compete with it.
