OUR STORY

It started with a half-finished home and a question we couldn't stop asking.

We were deep into a residential build in Los Angeles, a project we'd poured ourselves into, when we hit the same wall we always did.

The tile selections felt off. Character-less, mass-produced, "algorithmic" surfaces dressed up in random names that wouldn't even ship on time.

Every time we searched for materials, we felt the same quiet disappointment.

What if material shopping felt less like a chore and more like a tasteful discovery?

As the projects grew, our idea grew too.

While creating homes, we demanded materials that were aesthetic, authentic, and modern.

We flew to Italy, Greece, Morocco, China, India, Portugal, and Dubai to source materials.
We sat in workshops and watched artisans cut marble by hand, tumble travertine individually, press ceramic into molds passed down through generations.
We brought those materials back to LA. And our projects evolved.

At that moment, our design-build studio in LA gave birth to HAUS.

Traditional Craft. Modern Taste.
"Made for Dreamers"
But we're not just dreamers. We're "Do-ers".

OUR FAMILY

Credit belongs to
Building Science Development
— our prized design-build firm.

BSD delivers high-end residential development across Southern California. The same team that designs the homes designs the tiles. The same hands that build the buildings curate what goes on the floors and walls. There is no separation between the brand and the builder.
That's the point.

When you buy from HAUS, you're buying from the people who actually live with these materials. Who specify them, install them, and stand in finished rooms asking: does this feel right?
We are our own toughest critic and most demanding client.

The designers. The family. The HAUS.

OUR PROCESS

Everything stays
in-HAUS.
On purpose.

01 — International Sourcing

We find the source, not the supplier

Every collection begins with a journey: to a quarry, a family atelier, or a centuries-old tile workshop. We choose partners for their process and their integrity, not their minimum order quantities.

02 — Design Specs

We design with real-world expertise

Our designers work from actual architectural briefs, the same ones our BSD teams are executing. Every tile is considered in the context of a mood, a light source, a lifestyle philosophy.

03//Production & Operations

We control every step

Design, production oversight, QC, packaging, fulfillment. ALL UNDER ONE ROOF. No middlemen, no compromises at handoff. When something arrives imperfect, we know exactly where it happened.

04//Connection & Relationship

We deliver with confidence

Our finishes ship with the assurance & transparency that they were selected, inspected, and packed by the same people who designed them. That's not a brand promise. It's just how a studio should work.

05//Aftercare & Relationship

We stay with your room

The order may ship once. The relationship is built to last. From sample to selection to installation, we check in, answer questions, and care about how the material becomes part of your home.
