Botanica: The Garden Mosaic

A garden-like marble mosaic where petal forms and emerald accents turn stone into a living surface.
Botanica Floor Tile by HAUS

Botanica feels less like a floral tile and more like a room beginning to breathe. Pale natural stone sets the ground, while verde accents bloom through the pattern with quiet confidence.

It is decorative, but not delicate. The composition has enough structure to feel architectural, and enough softness to feel personal.

Design Perspective

Botanica was conceived around soft botanical abstraction. The composition gives natural marble a clear point of view, turning surface coverage into a material statement rather than a simple background finish.

The design balances pattern with permanence. Petal forms and verde-indio green accents create visual identity, while the natural stone keeps the surface grounded, dimensional, and tied to craft.

It works best in interiors where the material is meant to shape the room’s mood: bathroom floors, shower walls, powder rooms, garden-inspired kitchens, entryways, spa bathrooms, and boutique hospitality spaces.

Best Uses

Use Botanica anywhere a room needs softness with structure: feature walls, backsplashes, bathroom floors, powder rooms, shower walls, and entry moments.

It can make a small room feel intentional fast. Give it clean fixtures, warm light, and enough breathing room for the pattern to read.

Material Character

Botanica is natural marble, so every sheet carries variation in tone, veining, and green accent movement. That variation gives the surface its garden-like depth.

The polished finish brings clarity to the pattern and helps the stone catch light, while the mosaic format keeps the surface detailed and hand-felt.

Installation & Care Guidance

Install with a thin-set mortar suitable for natural stone mosaics. Dry-lay the sheets before setting to review flower alignment, color movement, and sheet-to-sheet rhythm.

Seal after installation with a penetrating stone sealer. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid vinegar, bleach, acidic cleaners, or abrasive pads.

For wet floors or shower applications, confirm final suitability with your installer so slip resistance, slope, grout, and maintenance are planned correctly.

Pairing & Styling Notes

Botanica pairs beautifully with creamy plaster, unlacquered brass, warm oak, limestone, pale field tile, and soft green accents.

Keep the surrounding palette simple. The point is not to decorate around Botanica. The point is to let Botanica make the room feel grown, chosen, and alive.
